Haumann and Holtug consolidate

Danes on the charge at the 29er Worlds

In today's strong winds off Grand Bahama, the 29ers racing their World Championship suffered even more than their big brothers on the neighbouring courses.
After day two Danes Oscar Haumann and Klaus Holtug have now consolidated their lead from yesterday, now on 19 points, 11 ahead of the French duo Kevin Fisher and Glenn Gouron who have moved up to second from fourth yesterday. Argentinians Pepe Bettini and Fernando Gwozdz, who were second at the start of the day clearly weren't enjoying the conditions and have now dropped to seventh.

Racing continues tomorrow with three races scheduled. Weather predictions call for similar breeze, more exciting sailing on the docket.
