Skiffs return to SanFran

St Francis Yacht Club to host event for 18 footers again

The St.Francis Yacht Club has confirmed they will host the 18ft skiffs again in 2004.

A practice race will be held on 29 August with race days running Monday to Friday from 30 August until 3 September.

"The tides that week will be mostly flooding making for very fast flat water," says organiser Howie Hamblin. "The plan is two races a day with the first start at about 1:00 PM for maximum breeze.

"We will also have the infamous Bridge to Bridge race against some of the World's best Kite and Windsurfers.

"I hope to see all of you in San Francisco for the most adrenalin packed sailing on the planet. Put it on your calendar."
