Laser classes take to the roads once again this summer

The Europa Cup, the European tour for all the Laser classes is again running this year with events in Switzerland, France, Italy, Holland, Poland, Denmark, Austria and Croatia.

4-7 April: Lugano, Switzerland
11-14 April: Andora, Italy
18-21 April: Hourtin, France
16-18 May: Muiderzand, Holland
5-8 July: Warnemunde, Germany
11-14 July: Aarhus, Denmark
17-20 July: Wolfgangsee, Austria

Some of these events will be used by the host nation as part of their qualification program to get to Athens.

Of the seven events the French event is biggest, and has moved this year from Martigues to the Club de Voile de Hourtin-Médoc on a lake to the north of Yokes-Hourtin, 6km from the Atlantic coast. This club is currently coming into its own and this year is holding events for A class cats, National Fun Board and a major Grand Prix over Armistice Day for the 49ers, Finn, New centreboards and Laser.
