Floating specs
Thursday April 10th 2008, Author: Gill, Location: United Kingdom
Gill has added six new styles to its range of sunglasses designed specifically for use on the water.
Made from a low-density material, Gill says the sunglasses are sufficiently light in weight that they will float if dropped into the water. All of the sunglasses have a wraparound design and polarised lenses to reduce the extra glare and reflections when on the water.
Dual, Cutter, Blade, Razor and Shield are provided in adult sizes. Sandfly is a smaller size suitable for children. All have nose pads and rubber-tipped arms for additional comfort.
If you are not quite ready to trust the new floating abilities of the Gill sunglasses the company also produces a value-for-money retaining strap that holds the sunglasses comfortably in place.
