Ovington Boats to market the Solution dinghy

Ovington Boats are pleased to announce the recent acquisition of the Solution dinghy.

The Solution hull has been built at Ovington Boats since its outset in 2005, and it seemed like a natural progression for Ovington Boats to complete the Solution by fitting out and marketing the boat.

The Solution was developed by Kevin Clark and Andrew Elliott to cater for sailors who wanted a quality high performance singlehander but were too light for the Phantom.
Kevin Clarke, designer of the Solution, said: "The class is very happy and we’re looking forward to having back up from Ovingtons."

Chris Turner, Managing Director of Ovington Boats, sailed the Solution in Tynemouth this week and at last weekend’s open meeting at Delph Sailing Club and said: "I was pleasantly surprised, the boat exceeded my expectations. I met some of the sailors for the first time at Delph, they were friendly and very enthusiastic and I thoroughly enjoyed my weekend.’
