A fine sunny day coupled with a moderate Easterly wind, ensured that the eighteen Enterprises competing were to enjoy a day of excellent sailing from Hampton SC. Amongst the 18 competitors were visitors from Southbank, Datchet, Island Barn and Minima sailing clubs.

The first race saw David and John Beaney from Datchet sailing club lead throughout the race, leaving Neil Parsloe crewed by Siobhan Ladyman from Broadwater sailing club to fight it out for second spot with Phil Chambers crewed by Oliver Jenkins from Hampton finishing in third.

Race two had David and John Beaney coming from third to take the bell with, this time, Steve and Kathy Collins from Minima yacht club in second just ahead of Neil Parsloe and Siobhan Ladyman.

The third race was not contested by the Beaney’s and instead had Steve and Kathy leading from the start until being overtaken at the very end of the race by Neil and Siobhan. Third place this time being taken, once again, by Phil Chambers.

Results:

1-David Beaney and John Beaney
2-Neil Parsloe and Siobhan Ladyman
3-Steve Collins and Kathy Collins
4-Phil Chambers and Oliver Jenkins
