Imperia Winter Regatta competitors stay ashore on day one

The 19th Imperia Winter Regatta began with very demanding weather condition: the event is being held in Oneglia Harbour organised by Yacht Club Imperia.

More than 400 sailors from 14 countries (Algeria, Austria, Croatia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Monaco, Netherlands, Slovenia, Switzerland, UK) taking part were unable to leave the harbour due to the rough sea and force 6 wind. Today's program has been postponed until tomorrow morning with the first start at 10.00am.

The opening ceremony was held in the afternoon at 5.00pm in Oneglia Harbour.
