Development of the RS100 continues to be pretty close to schedule. Plugs were air freighted to Composite Marine International (CMI) in Thailand at the beginning of September. Production of the moulds is currently underway and a full set should be completed in around a week’s time.
RS employ a QC manager, Jim Hood (aka Junior), permanently based in Thailand who is overseeing the current stages with CMI’s experienced team. Production Director Alex Southon will fly out in mid October to implement the production of the first hulls.
Meanwhile, back in the UK the rig development continues in parallel.
