Top news for the Merlin Rocket Nationals

The Merlin Rocket Class Association and Whitstable Yacht Club are pleased to announce that Shepherd Neame have come on board as Title Sponsor for this year’s National Championships. In addition sponsorship has been provided by Allen Brothers, Chipstow Boats, Dynamic Sails, Harken, Hyde Sails, Marlow Ropes, North Sails (UK), P&B Sails, Speed Sails, The Dinghy Store (Whitstable) and Winder Boats. The Sunday of the National Championships will be in memory of Frank Dwyer one of Whitstable’s illustrious Race Officers who died recently after a long illness, with his son Finigan Dwyer presenting prizes at the end of racing on Sunday.

Reports will be issued daily for both the Yachting World Trophy - National Champions and Holt Plate – Handicap National Champions.

With 54 boats already entered, it looks to be a great event as long as the weather plays ball
