Gale forces cancellation

30-40 knot winds have forced the cancellation of day three's racing at Kiel Week

There will be no action today on all race courses at Kiel Week. Due to strong south westerly winds of 22 to 27 knots - which are forcast to increase to a moderate gale with westerly showers and wind speeds between 30 and 40 knots - the Race Committee decided to cancel all races on the eight courses of the International part of Kieler Woche 2008.
