Monster notice

The Entry Form and Notice of Race are both now available for the MDI Loch Ness Monster Race

The Notice of Race and Entry Form have both been released for this year’s MDI Loch Ness Monster Race.

The 50 mile race is set to take place on the 25th August and all catamaran entries faster than a Dart 18 are welcome. As an added incentive a cash prize of £500 is being offered to the winner by Blaser Chiropractic of the Park Practice in Glasgow. Entry forms should be returned by the 1 July they will be accepted later with a £10 additional fee required.

This year will be the first time the race has been run since 2004. Already there has been a significant amount of interest with some competitors from overseas expressing interest.

A road around Loch Ness allows friends of competitrs to follow the course by car. The event also coincides with the Drumnadrochit Highland Games being held on the same day on the banks of the Loch.
