Gill have released a new breathable drysuit and boots for sportboat and dinghy sailors

Gill have released a new breathable drysuit and new breathable boots for serious dinghy and sportsboat sailors. Gill says their new drysuit delivers unsurpassed durability, comfort and performance for winter sailing.

Made from 5-Dot™, 3-layer fabric in a lightweight design, the Drysuit is highly breathable and has a tough Metal Dry zip. High tenacity reinforcement material is added in extra wear areas at the seat and knees, an external pocket is fitted to the thigh while a new internal brace design ensures the fit is comfortable and that the braces don’t fall off the shoulders.

Gill is the first to market with a unique Glideskin neoprene neck and wrist seal that is embossed with size lines to make it easy to adjust for a comfortable yet watertight fit. To adjust for size, simply trim off the excess material by cutting around the appropriate mark; the lines ensure a neat edge and a better fit.

The new breathable boot range from Gill is designed for those that want the best in footwear performance on the boat.

Gill has developed two styles that have three essential qualities: fantastic grip, a great fit, and unrivalled breathability.

The grip is provided by the Vibram sole, that has superb water dispersion capabilities, and a compound that will keep you securely attached to the deck.

The breathability is provided by an eVent® lining, that is the most breathable lining available that is suitable for waterproof footwear.

There are two different designs in classic brown leather and highly durable black Kevlar/Leather. All this specification is available at an extremely competitive price, just £125 for the classic brown leather, and £150 for the black Kevlar/Leather boot.
