Its barely three weeks until the 2007 RS700 UK National Championships and, falling relatively early in the season, the regatta is wide open.

A wide range of sailors, from ex-Olympians to complete novices, will be making the trip to the Royal Torbay Sailing Club on 2-5 June, and – with the benefit of high-level coaching throughout the Event – there are no dead certs!

In true RS style, there is set to be as much action off the water as on. Thanks to generous sponsorship by Gul, supported by Seasure, there will be a host of free activities throughout the Event – coaching, awards, raffles, Go-Karting, meals, and Happy Hours to name a few.

Torbay is a fantastic venue with everything from accommodation to pubs within walking distance, while the surrounding area boasts many family attractions for the all-important support crews.

Entry is online at www.rs-association.com – entries received before the 16 May cost £69 and receive a free embroidered 2007 Gul RS700 Nationals shirt. After that, the entry fee increases to £90.

If you are thinking this sounds like fun, but not sure you can swing the holiday, then why not register for the Saturday-Sunday series? Two days of exciting championship racing for the bargain price of £36.

With competitors travelling from across the UK and Europe ensuring exciting racing, there is little doubt this will be an awesome event.
