RS400 season preview
Monday March 13th 2006, Author: Paul Hilliar, Location: United Kingdom
The RS400 circuit gets underway this weekend, 18-19 March at Queen Mary Sailing Club in Staines. This season, the RS400 fleet will be splitting prizes between Gold and Silver fleets, with boats competing in the same fleet throughout the year. The top teams from the last few years will be in the gold fleet, leaving the silver fleet to be hotly contested throughout the season by those outside the elite.
As 2006 continues, the RS400 class will be travelling to many fantastic venues, including a glamour trip to Garda for the Eurocup and the national championships once again visiting Mounts Bay. The circuit also takes in some great sea venues such as Abersoch, Weymouth, Brixham and Hayling Island with the Inlands at Rutland.
