Olympic Gold medallist, Shirley Robertson, gave birth to twins yesterday

Two time Olympic Gold medallist Shirley Robertson and husband Jamie Boag are delighted to announce the birth of their twin’s, Killian (5.6lb’s) and Annabel (4.8lbs), who were born one minute apart yesterday morning (12 July).

The twins were delivered by caesarean section, there were no complications and both mother and babies are happy and healthy.

Jamie and Shirley would like to thank the doctors and nurses at St Mary’s Hospital, Newport, Isle of Wight for the excellent care they have received.

Our congratulations go to Shirley and Jamie, we wish them all the best and look forward to seeing two Optimists floating around on the Solent.
