Mike Cooke from Aardvark Technologies is to begin buliding OKs in the UK

Mike Cooke from Aardvark Technologies (www.aardvarkracing.co.uk) has agreed to build a new set of moulds, to produce all GRP OK Dinghy hulls.]

Cooke will be working with current World Champion Nick Craig and 2004 World Champion Jim Hunt plus a number of other top OK Dinghy sailors to get the project off the ground.

He will develop the new hull shape, based along the lines of the successful Kiwi Icebreaker design from Vacuum bagged epoxy glass foam sandwich. The all new deck layout will use a number of tried and tested elements mixed with some new features.

Mike starts building the new plugs in May, planning to produce the first boats in the Autumn ready for the 2007 season, there are already a number of boats pre-ordered.
