Four months before the 2005 Aruba Heineken Catamaran Regatta, the organization has received 35 pre-entries. Sailors from the UK, Holland, Austria, Switzerland, Curaco, Aruba, Belgium and Germany have already reserved their places for this year’s event. With entries limited to 60 boats anyone considering attending this regatta (now in it’s 15th year) are advised to reserve their places soon.
The warm trade winds and crystal waters make this a sailors paradise and it is obvious why teams continue to come back year after year. The offshore breezes (Beaufort 3 –5) ensure the seas are slight and the excellent race management means that the races are run on time and close to the beach giving everyone the chance to see what is going on.
The Aruba Regatta is open to all beach catamaran sailors and attracts a wide variety of Catamarans each year from Dart 15’s to the Olympic Tornado. The regatta runs from the 4th – 13th November 2005 with comprehensive programme of racing and social events.

In addition to Heineken, the event is sponsored by TNG Swiss Watches, KLM, Aruba Tourist Board, Hapag-Lloyd, Does & Cadushi, Holiday Inn, Coca Cola, Magic Marine, De Palm Tours, Aruba Water, Bawdsley Haulage.
