470s trailed to new Chilean class association

470 Internationale has welcomed Club Deportivo Clase 470 Olímpico (Chile) - the newest 470 Class Association in South America.

Eight Boats have been imported so far this year (mainly from Argentina) but there are big plans from the first Chilian 470 Class President Mauricio Zulueta. It was a tough trip back with the boats but hopefully the whether will be more sailor friendly for the first races of the Southern Season.

Their first International regatta will be the SouthAmerican Championship in March 2006 and there are plans to compete at the ISAF World Sailing Games in Austria in May 2006.
