49er training

Supported by the RYA the UK 49er class has arranged six 2 day training camps with National 49er class coach Richard Parslow.
The training sessions are aimed at teams who wish to improve their skills to move up the fleet or that have just moved into the class and wish to fast track their way into 49er racing. The days are open to any 49er sailor who is a member of the UK class association.
The times and venues are designed to fit in with the National ranking program to enable everybody to make the most of this opportunity. Not all sessions are at weekends - some will be held on the Thursday and/or Friday before a major event.
The date and venues are:
1 Hayling Island SC 3 & 4 June 2004 TBC
2 Lee on Solent 15 & 16 July 2004
3 Weymouth 7 & 8 August 2004
4 Queen Mary SC 18 & 19 September 2004 TBC
5 Weymouth 7 & 8 October 2004
6 Weymouth 14/15 October 2004
The cost of each session is £50 per boat or £25 per day per boat.
