“Eric Twiname IX” the Optimist Class Association RIB was stolen sometime between Tuesday 21st September and the morning of Saturday 25th September from the yard of Rectory Farm, Stanton St. John, Oxfordshire.

The boat is a 5.0m Orange Tornado RIB, with the name on both sides. It has a Yamaha 40hp 2-stroke engine. The boat has extra black reinforcement around the bow area. It was stolen on a large, double axle trailer with 4 over-bars for securing boats.

The trailer was made by West Mersea and has a removable launching trolley for the RIB and two metal boxes, one on either side level with the bow of the RIB. This trailer is the property of the Lasko family.
