- Warning signal for the first race each day will be at 12.55 local time. No warning signal will be given after 15:55
- For each class there are 11 races, except the 49er for which there are 16, over eight days (plus two days in reserve) ie two races per day or three for the 49er (except for the last day when one race is held)
- Four races must be completed to constitute a series. When more than five races are completed, competitors can discard their worst result.
- Time limits:
Mistral - 60 mins, (20 mins to weather mark), expected duration 30-40 mins
Europe, Laser, 470, Tornado - 90 mins (20 mins to weather mark), expected duration 60 mins
49er - 60 mins (20 minutes to weather mark), expected duration 30 mins
Finn, Star and Yngling - 120 mins (30 mins to weather mark), expected duration 75 mins
- Boats failing to finish within 30 minutes after the first boat finishes will be scored DNF
