Fireflys continue in breezy conditions

Tony Gunstone just holds onto the overall lead after another windy day at the Firefly nationals in Brixham.
Tuesday's Race 5 was won by Ian Sanderson who led the trapezoid course almost from the line start. Dom Johnson did his best to catch up but had to settle for runner up, moving into second place overall. Chris Kameen spent much of the race in third but a capsize on the jibe mark sent him back to finish twenty third. Gunstone pulled through from seventh to third despite his light weight in the windy conditions.
A disco provided entertainment in the evening after the AGM which involved a lively debate about the construction of rudders.

The Duckams dress for gross underachievment has been worn by Simon Spolton (for putting his self bailers in back to front), Ross Elliston and Peggy Dorothy (for stopping for their picnic lunch before the race had finished), Giles Bradford (for something unmentionable and having his school name tape sewed into his toga), and Jane Stamp (for complaining loudly she couldn't find the gate boat when it was a line start).
