Report and full results from the 29er, 49er and 59er at Grafham Water SC

Wednesday October 29th 2003, Author: Ovington Boats, Location: United Kingdom
Grafham provided not only an excellent weekends racing but they laid on the perfect wind as well - if a little cold. 8 races were held for all the fleets on two seperate race tracks.

In the 29er fleet it was current National Champions Tristen Jaques and Alain Sign who after a shaky first day pulled back on Sunday to take the title. Ed Chapman & Tom Peel had an impresive first day but were unable to hold of Jaques & Sign in the slightly lighter winds of Sunday.

The 49er fleet was dominated by James MacIntosh & Phil Kennard who won 5 out of the 8 races. there were a few staring moments from a number of other teams such as Ben McGrane & Jonny Clegg.

Andy and Karen Partington almost made a clean sweep winning all but one of the 59er races. Rob Dulson and Christine Iredale gave them a run for their money each race but could only beat them once.
