USA Junior Olympic Sailing Festival

News and details from US Sailing of the program of junior events in August

It’s summertime and the living is easy, especially for children who are enjoying the vacation from school. Hundreds of junior sailors under 19 years old will celebrate the break by going out on the water to participate in any of the five USA Junior Olympic Sailing Festivals scheduled to take place in August. The events will be held in five states across the country: New York, Massachusetts, California, Rhode Island, and Washington.

The USA Junior Olympic Sailing Festival program, presented by West Marine, helps young sailing enthusiasts who already have on-the-water experience develop their sailing skills while having fun on and off the water.

The USA Junior Olympic Sailing Festival program is organized by US Sailing; national governing body for the sport of sailing and sailboat racing. This year, more than 4,000 junior sailors will participate in 20 Junior Olympic events at yacht clubs and community sailing programs across the country.
