Following great success and overall domination in the 2008 season in the original 40 Degrees, the new 40 Degrees was launched this autumn. 40 Degrees is an Owen Clarke design Open 40 Class, racing yacht optimised for single and double handed racing. She was built by Jazz Marine in Cape Town and is skippered by Miranda Merron.

Diverse’ latest project, Judel Vroljik 60, Jethou has launched and just completed 2 weeks of sea trials and testing. Built by Green Marine in Lymington and temporarily based in Ocean Village. Soon to be heading out to her home in the Med and the competition of the growing mini maxi fleet.

Green Dragon Racing, Volvo 70
Offshore
For the late entry into the Volvo Ocean Race Green Dragon, Diverse Yachts was asked to supply and install the complete electrical, electronic and computer systems on board this Volvo70. Diverse Yachts asked Peter Tans to take care of design and installation of these systems. Some systems like all communication systems, were specified in the Volvo70 rule.
